A Mentor uses her expertise and experiences to guide and support the Mentee in his personal development and so improve his life.
Your mentor would take some time to get to know you, understand your needs and the challenges facing you.
This understanding would help the Mentor to use her training, skills and experiences to actively support you to achieve your personal and/or career goals.
To do this effectively, the Mentor must have a genuine desire to support the mentee to achieve his goals.
Dr Tina would use her skills to
- Always keep the mentee’s goals in focus.
- Actively listen to the mentee.
- Guide the conversations.
- Show empathy to the mentee.
- Ask the mentee exploratory questions.
- Challenge limiting assumptions appropriately.
- Introduce the mentee to new ways of thinking.
- Use her experiences to share appropriate values with the mentee.
- Advice, feedback, and support the mentee at all times.
Our carefully structured mentoring programme creates a relationship between the Mentor and mentee that focuses on achieving the specific goals and objectives negotiated with the mentee.
Our mentoring programme is offered in any of three types:
- One-on-one mentoring.
- Group mentoring – teams, units, departments, etc.
- Executive mentoring.
Our mentoring service can be
- In-person.
- Distance or Virtual.
- Combination of both.
